An Awesome Book for Young readers Lavay Byrd As a huge fan of Christian Fantasy, Ms. McDonald combined three of my favorite topics in fiction: Jesus Christ, horses (winged horses), battles between angels and demons, and a fantasy world into this amazing book! I could not put it down as I followed Raneous in his mind-blowing adventure! It was so unique, and so powerful at the same time!Now as a fellow writer in this genre, I was still blown away by the uniqueness of her stor. Fantastic Journey Aboard This Winged Horse! By great fortune, I was given a copy of this wonderful book. From the opening pages, I was riveted. Raneous, a winged colt, stole my heart and I cheered as he longed to serve the High King and fly beside his mother on angel missions. When he was captured by a demon and carried down to earth, I couldn't put the book down. I stole minutes from my work day to sneak in pages, and finally carried it to the gym so I could finish while . interesting & good theology I've read this and the second in the series. I enjoyed both books & I'm an adult. If my son were a bit older & ready for chapter books, I'd definitely have him reading these.Male main characters who use their God-given strength to battle evil will definitely get boys attention.
