I read it to my son and he read it back to me, he just graduated from kindergarten. I like the way that instead of telling a story they were making statements about everyday questions and everyday things. In that being that where he understood not only how to sound out his letters to read the name of the word, but that he understood what they meant and in what context they were used. He learned more in this book than he realized. It's great!.
