LJ said So much fun!. Glad I found this. Supernatural plots rarely grab me, but it hooked me. Inventive plot and their grounding and balancing understanding of real humanity makes you happy to believe the unbelievable, as great adventures and fantasy stories do. Great twists and funny dialog. I thought Agnes and the Hit man would be tough to top (and in fact their other novel Don't Look Down did not me. Wild Ride Nan B. Jennifer Crusie is one of my favorites, and the team-up with Bob Mayer has been nothing but pleasure and "Wild Rides"! Their book 'Wild Ride' was a completely different direction for them to go, but one that sits very well with their previous collaborations.
