"Good resource for younger kids" according to Carolyn Daniloff. My son is 10 and I was looking for some valuable input. This has been my major issue looking for help with him at school. Since this book is geared towards younger kids it did not help me much, but if you need help understanding sensory processing for your younger child it would be hellpful.. tofusoynut said FINALLY!. Finally a book that describes my child perfectly. My child has sensory processing disorder and I found this book super helpful and very validating. Not only does it describe specific sensory behaviors (auditory, vestibular, etc.) but gives valuable suggestions. I am so thankful and want to personally write to the authors!. Too clinical for the average reader I think the book has a lot of good information, but the text is written in a clinical language, which makes it hard to understand. I have read other books on the topic that were an easier read. I give it 3 stars, because it still contains helpful info., but it's not something I could sit and read with any other distractions in the room.
