I didn't understand much of it, on that first reading, but I did understand enough. I was feeling ambivale. A Pool Among the Rock This is a poorly formatted, but free, copy of the poem that comes with the footnotes and at least has all of the words in the right order.If you are new to this poem or have a passing familiarity with it and want to study it further, then this probably isn't a very good choice.
