The Wandering Schoolgirl: Book 01 debuts a lighthearted graphic novel series following Breanna Cota, a young Hispanic girl called upon to save the princess of a faraway land a land that is peculiarly reminiscent of Japanese anime, from the Chibi village filled with perky tiny girls to fierce mecha-suit battles! The princess is under a terrible curse of seven governors, and until the curse is lifted, she will embody each of the governor's worst traits - sloth, envy, gluttony, anger, lust, covetousness, and deadliest of all, pride. Freya said Conventions, Cosplaying, Anime, All-ages fun for the family!. For those whose only exposure to anime is through Pokemon and Cartoon Network and those who (especially parents) are left utterly befuddled at why anime is so popular, well here's the comic for you! What is Anime? This book explains it. C. Walker When you see the cover, you have to open this book. And after the first page, they've got you hooked. If you enjoy anime adventure stories, this is definitely one to pick up. The artwork is superb and the writing is very clever. Even the young at heart will enjoy this well crafted and funny tale of what it's like for a young girl to experience an anime convention for the first time, only to be thrown into the real-life anime world with giant robots and catgirls (with tails!). It's a fun read and inspires me to crea
