"Gripping adventure" according to Roger Weston. The Reader's Digest hard back edition looks great on the bookshelf. I picked it up because it was the edition I read from the library years ago. I enjoyed the story and wanted to read it again. Not only is it illustrated with high-quality pictures, it also has size 12 font that makes for easy reading. Of course, the aesthetics wouldn't matter if London hadn't written a great boo. "Disappointing" according to Ron. Really didn't like it much.
