"Pornography for the Gods" was a great story Dove I had the opportunity to read an entry from "The Queer South," entitled "Pornography for the Gods," by Cameron Mitchell. The story that Mr. Mitchell wrote is truthful, raw and gripping. It is a rare occurrence when an author talks so candidly about a personal experience. The story gave the reader a glimpse into what life must be like for a gay adole. A treasure chest A Southern author himself Douglas Ray has edited a fascinating set of poems and short stories about the situation in the South today - reveries, love songs, diatribes, tender poems, angry grit, fireworks quality celebrations, and misgivings and disappointments abut life in the South of America. Through the courtesy and insight of Sibling Rivalry Pre. I really loved this anthology I really loved this anthology. Some of the pieces were a bit stronger than others but, overall, it was satisfying. It's very hard to pin down the experiences of queer Southerners.
