Good but not her best Kresley Cole is one of my favorite authors. I've literally read every one of her books except for the the last two in this Game Maker series, and I've read and re-read her IAD and Arcane Chronicles series multiple times. They do not get old. Ever.The Professional was well-done but just didn't seem quite as tight as her other works and it didn't suck me in enough to make me want to continue with the series. If Sevastian's brother's character had been fleshed out a little more in this book I may have had more interest in following up on his story in bo. How does that work?? Cj You know, I really love Cole's works. I've read every book (except The Arcana series) and have her soon to be released books on order. She writes interesting stories, weaves delicious sex scenes, takes you on a fantastic voyage but sometimes with her, things just don't make sense. I'm a very visual reader and I like for things to make sense. The positions that she puts some of her characters in for love making just don't work. Unless the person is a contortionist. And if that's the case then tell the reader, otherwise we (I ) am left wondering "How d. Definitely won't be my last book by this author!! Wow.what a wild ride!! Ms. Cole created an amazing life for little Ms. Natalie Porter from Nebraska and it was soooo not what I expected!! I had a hard time trusting Aleks Sevastyan throughout most of the book, but I could see the draw Natalie had to this hard man. The one character I really did enjoy getting to know was Natalie's birth father. Thank goodness we only got to see his softer side with Natalie, but like, Sevastyan, I am sure he had a harder side as well.
