This is the true-life tale about bad choices, lessons learned, and lost opportunities. This book will make you laugh-but it will also make you cry.. The stories follow the elementary, middle and high school years of a boy named Nick along with several of Nick's school buddies-all of whom lacked the benefit of appropriate parental guidance
"Great quick read for parents, teachers, school resource officers, and "that kid"." according to Dave. I know of and respect the author but the book yields an insight into the world of a school resource officer. In this case, an officer who went well beyond his "shift" to help. Nice contrast between a success story and another story, hum??, waiting to happen. And, you can pass it down to a kid (we all know one) who needs to do th. I had this man as a teacher at my high samantha I had this man as a teacher at my high school and he was truly the most pleasant man alive. Enjoyed it a lot! EILEEN M ZAGELOW This book is a great teaching tool for parents, teachers and law enforcement. It is obvious that the author took his responsibilities to heart. The book is warmly written and provides a stark reality check
