Not just for punctuation but for overuse of adverbs, adjectives and generally distracting sloppy sentence writing. I have read many earlier MHC books all were much better than this. Style is different. Reader knows too much about the villain which lessens the "mystery." Suspense was supposed to build, but it didn't..
