DESCRIPTION:
"Fun Highland read without the sex scenes:}" according to LoveBooks. I enjoyed this book, It was a fun read. I love highland books and they are so hard to find without sexual content. This had it's steamy moments and there was some innuendo but there was no sex scenes. The story was a fun one and I enjoyed learning a little more about this time period. Iv'e always been fascinated by these people. The characters were great and the pacing was well done.. Merry improved with age Ashley When we met Merry in book one I thought she was an annoying brat. I'm glad to say she grew up and I actually liked her in this book. She is a strong heroine who takes the matter of rescuing her friend (and soon to be love interest) from an English prison. Merry and Ewan's love story is one of both tenderness, passion, and adventure.. barbara said Bold Heart is a good read. Satisfying.. The Bold Heart culminates this series perfectly. This book leaves you happy and satisfied yet makes you crave more of Carmen Caine's story telling.
