Great first book in the series pw reader What a wonderful surprise this book turned out to be. Honestly, I thought Texas Thunder by Kimberly Raye would center on vampires not moonshine. This story had all the right ingredients for me to love it and want to come back for seconds and thirds when the other two sisters have their stories told.The duty that the two main characters, Cassie and Brett find themselves with is one that I know first-hand, so I have complete sympathy for these two except I am the child not the grandchild. For that reason I found the story to be believable that they would do what needed to be done even if it caused a delay in their life.
