Outstanding Tom Jones The pictures are great and loads of history of the origin of tennis. First book I have seen describing orign of tennis. Easy read. Since the book was used for research 5 stars for shipping. The book is interesting. Re-edited version of 1932 original, so you won't find too much current info in it. Some of its contents has been refuted by H. Gillmeister in his well researched book, Tennis: A Cultural History. Easy read. Since the book was used for research purposes the index, appendices, and illustration index as well as contents pages were put to great use.. Capri said A tennis player himself. Yes this was an interesting mix of the history of Tennis. I bought if for my brother-in-law, a tennis player & fan, and the combination he said sent it to the top of his reading list.
