It is definitely comprehensive and gave me a lot of ideas on what to do and pitfalls. There were enough diagrams to assist as well. I trained as a Civil Engineer and so wasn't going to be fooled by a second rate attempt to describe building techniqu. "A decent primer on slipforms" according to B. Yetter. There are a handful of books written on slipforms. This is one of the most professional. The author devotes a fair amount of the book to tangents about energy conservation and his own personal architectural philosophies, but that aside, he gives very clear advice on the process. There is a decent amount of diagrams, and the writing is clear and straightforward.. / said Wish I could do this .. Detailed, hands-on, illustrated, conversational, and downright inspiring. Slipform casting really seems like as-easy-as-possible way to build a stone house. Smart little piggy !
