D. Mikels said Lake Michigan Has Islands?. Wizard Harry Dresden has a major problem: He owes Mab, the manipulative fairy Queen of the Winter Court, a couple of favors. And in the dead of winter during a brutal snowstorm, Mab comes calling to cash in on a favor: Rescue mobster kingpin Johnny Marcone from his unknown kidnappers--kidnappers with enough supernatural powers to destroy Marcone's near-impenetrable safe house. Enlisting the aid of his brother. Another Hit! Finally, Dresden is going to get some! But I still love the stories, and sometimes get confused about who is the good guys and who is the bad guys. it all kinda melts together, but I get the main characters and know where they are coming from and that is more important to me. Great Writing, good characters and always fun to read about the sarcastic, but loveable Harry Dresden, and his cohorts, and good compan. Never Lets You Down Wendysaf I am constantly amazed at the quality of writing that Jim Butcher achieves. Book after book of complex plots and characters. Snarky humor. Mystery. Problem solving. Even theological debate. I love it all. And it's all here again, in Small Favor. Course you have to have read all the books before this one or you lose half the weight and flavor of the reading experience. Enjoy!
