The field of motility continues to evolve rapidly. The first part deals with basic physiology of the gastrointestinal tract with an emphasis on neural and smooth muscle physiology. "Delivers what's expected" according to jurdong. Good review / overview of gastro-intestinal motility. Comprehensive but still pretty quick to read.
