A Customer said Review of this Dover Clip-Art Series book. Need an illustration of a medieval woman perusing a book? A famous person of literature like William Shakespeare? An imp sitting on a stack of tomes? Or something more mundane, like an open-faced book or a bottle of ink? This book contains that and more. The quality and quantity of these charming black-and-white illustrations is as impressive as the title is self-explanatory.. "Didn't know you could find artwork like this!" according to N. Was doing a themed birthday party event on "All Things Literary", and used the illustrations in this book for artwork and gift tags (scanned pages so I didn't need to cut up the book). A ton of great art designs on literary themes of writing, reading and famous authors. Great source, and at a great price!. k said nice collection but. didn't expect to see so many anatomy images as well as murder images which I don't need and wish I didn't purchase. I actually clipped these pages out as they were not encouraging to my creative spirit.

You'll also find useful spot illustrations of reading and writing paraphernalia from days gone by as well as a gallery of 20 distinguished literary figures — Cervantes, Byron, Shelley, Wordsworth, Shakespeare, Tennyson, and others..
