Back for more cross-dressing antics! Amazon Customer Volume 5 of Pretty Face is more of the same for the series with a new ally/enemy mixed in Natsuo. You see, she's found Rando out and is willing to keep his secret, but almost blows it many, many times both accidentally and as leverage against Rando so he pays more attention to her.In addition, it looks as if Rina has a new suitor in the form of the shy and reserved class rep who takes her attentions before and during the class ski trip, and our lecherous doctor friend has troubles of his own in the form of a stalker patient.All in all, more rote episodes that are neither superb or off putting. I enjoy the series, but am never exp. "Possibly the single funniest manga volume I've ever read." according to Kaleidocherry. Much of this is standard funny-Rando/Yuna fare, but during the chapter where Rando masquerades as a hot date for Dr. Manabe, I dropped the book on the floor, I was laughing so hard! This whole sequence doesn't advance the story at all, but it was such a purely ludicrous situation for Rando to be in, that it went over the top and stayed there. Putting the electrode pads on Rando's joints was so unnecessary and yet it made the whole chapter orders of magnitude funnier. I recommend the entire Pretty Face series but this volume tops them all.. Received ashfire I received the manga in good shape but have not had time to read it. Will read it soon when I finish the others in the series I purchased.
