"My preschooler says this is way too easy" according to Skippy. This is a really nice book; however, if your pre-schooler/kindergartener knows their letter sounds, you may be wasting your time. I was looking for more of a transition into reading. My younger pre-schooler could definitely benefit from this, but if your child has done any work with sounding out words or letters, I really think a more advanced book would be a better idea. If you're just looking for something to reinforce letter sounds, then this is great! Again, really nice book, just really not what I was looking for. The gold stars are gre. Best phonics book to step in to world of word and sentences :) SMAZ After Roger Priddy workbooks We became fan of Carson-Dellosa books. It's amazing. To teach a child how to read or spell, first you have to make sure he/she knows how each letter sounds, then only he can spell or read a wordgradually sentences perfectly. We searched for a phonics book and this book we found quite interesting and we were 100% right choosing this book for our 3.5 yr old kiddo.The best features-It's a 60 educational practice page book.In each page there are some pictures given where you have to name the picture and then circle t. An Amazon Customer said Seems to be effective and fun for grandson. I bought this for my grandson and we have used it quite a bit to go along with his kindergarten homework. We don't use it all the time or anything quite that drastic, but at times it helps for reinforcement of sounds or letters with which he experiences some difficulty. This book is very helpful that way. My grandson likes this book MUCH more than the material from school. He learns faster from this book and never seems to want to stop. This is in distinct contrast to the school-provided material.We have used a few different phonics books an
