Niki said So Raoul finally has his story.. Raoul was never a favorite character in the series so I was not too keen on getting this one. Surprisingly this spin off in the Arabian Nights is pretty well done. As is in the original series, I again find the adult characters more interesting, in particular one darkly handsome and brooding Prince Muzaffar with a possessive streak over his younger brother, Ashif. Raoul's love interest, Prince Ashif, is the usual nice, innocent and typical uke. As is with this mangaka, her plot is as usual fast paced and entertaining. And I do like the detailed and vivid artwork here. But if this is the end. "Raoul finally gets his guy!" according to Amanda. I wasn't too big on Raoul when he first appeared in the Our Kingdom series, but as he started growing more as a person I found myself warming to him, and was quite sad that he never seemed to get someone to love him. I was quite thrilled to see him finally find a love interest of his own! As far as the story line I think it was a little rushed, and would have benefited more if it had been its own series or something, but it was still a very good read! Happy ending for Raoul at last, even if he does have to contend with an over-protective brother!. "Arabian Nights!" according to Tolasunamy. While I must say that contrary to the title Roul is in nothing like Sharazad's predicament, I think it's an interesting one myself. For all those out there who might have missed a couple of volumes in the series--this one stands alone. The main character is, of course, Roul Basil, Rei's nephew and personal headache. Of course it's nice he found someone of his own! :)

During a trip following a devastating heartbreak, Raoul meets the handsome Arabian prince, Asif! The prince is more radiant than the sun and Raoul finds himself captivated by Asif's beauty. Despite Raoul's vow never to let himself suffer heartbreak again, he wonders if this love is worth breaking his vow over?
