"rudimentary overview" according to RGMac. This is a short, simple overview of the PA profession that is worth the used book price. It reads more like a long magazine article than a book, for some reason. Anyone needing a nice quick introduction to the job will be satisfied with this book, although it's out of date. The many people interviewed seem to all be from Chicago, which is unusual, and also most got their education several years ago when there were literally dozens of different ways to become a PA. Modern day applicants will find many of the loosey-goosey programs of the past are now traditional masters programs.
