This book is a must for any serious oboe player and reedmaker. The author is of the American school and the section on actually making reeds is firmly within this style, however there is a lot of information and pictures of reeds made from just about every conceivable school of reedmaking and therefore a very useful reference book. I would heartily recommend this book to anyone who is on the journey of making better reeds and the sage advice contained within this book is most welcome.. said One of the ultimate reed books.
