Very good read A fantastic story combining a tragic historical time and a fast paced, modern day fictional scenario. As you jump from one timeline to the other, the story really draws you in. Not to mention the amount of research that was put into this in order to accurately portray the archeological and historical information. Edwin Herbert is definitely going on my watchlist as a promising new author. I'm looking forward to whatever he may release in the future.. Once you begin, you'll be riveted from beginning to end. I loved it! Amazon Customer This novel was so engaging I barely put it down once I began. It was well written, and not at all dumbed down. Unfortunately, I'm not as good with words as Edwin Herbert, so I can't express my pleasure with reading such a magnificent book. I will say this, I couldn't put it down.. hodag said Fantastic read!. I've rarely had this much fun while learning so many facts about the origins of Christianity." - Dan Barker, FFRF co-president and author of God: The Most Unpleasant Character in All Fiction
