I've been trying to come up with a list of children's books that acknowledge this fact, and it's tough. So many picture books are of the did. "sweet book" according to Deena K.. This is a sweet book about a loving relationship between a father and daughter. I have a son and we still get the same message out of it. We cry every time we read it.. "Cute" according to J. Putman. Cute story about a little girl who really wants to go to the zoo and refuses to believe it's raining. We've enjoyed it.
