Five Stars samaneka its good waiting for the 2nd book.. "Even Better Than the Real Thing" according to styler. I loved Jane Eyre. The book, and the musical. I never did see the movie or TV treatments, and I don't usually, with books that I love. Seeing the film always ruins it for me. The illusion has been destroyed. I didn't even go to the Harry Potter movies, or The Hunger Games. I want to keep the characters in my imagination, where they belong. The movies are always disappointing.I like LK Rigel, and loved the Space Junque s. Elizabeth Bennet said Very clever retelling. I didn't realize when I began reading this book that the story takes place In our future. Part of the United States has seceded to maintain a very conservative society based on early nineteenth century England. This allows a seamless meld of both classic Jane Eyre and a more modern vibe. More modern allows more overt sex and women's rights themes while the conservative locale maintains the classic romance.I enjoyed this
