I say the book is "about" the system, because it really does focus more on the theory behind the system, and why he teaches certain things, more than teaching the actual system. Great book John I just finished reading Hakim Islers' book Modern Hand to Hand Combat. Congradulations on a great book. I enjoyed the comparisons between samarai and soldier and the similarities in armor. The techniques are easy to understand and execute. The dvd is an excelent bonus.
