Good general Metallurgy book I have to say that any ASM book is a good investment. Even though I am a metallurgist I needed to review several things and this book was a very good reference. This is the book that ASM teaches the class with the same title with. I have read most of it and plan on taking the class when it comes to town.. Good book, I enjoyed reading it Good book, I enjoyed reading it. I found a lot of the subject matter to be quite basic so if you have little or no prior knowledge its probably a good reference. I would have liked to see more coverage and explanations of the different microstructures; the formation of. Overall I thought it was a good read though.
