DESCRIPTION:
She’s my stuck-up, hot as hell physical therapist. But we’re forced together as he's recovering from a season-ending injury. Smart as hell. Gorgeous. He’s a single dad, and he needs a lady Chloe I massage naked guys for a living, but it’s strictly business. Between my football career and raising my kid, I have no time to play the field. And she hates me. I have rules. He’s most valuable on the field, and most desired in the bedroom. It’s all his fault: Austin “The Champ” Sherwood, the gorgeous football god. She doesn’t have kids—I’m a single dad. My daughter needs a mother—and Chloe's perfect. Girls like her don’t go for guys like me, but I can’t get her out of my damn mind. She’s all attitude and sass until her clothes hit the floor. As a physical therapist, I get my hands on the hottest guys in sports, but I’m a professional. When I see women, it’s just to get laid. He’s my obnoxious patient. A football god who’s not a player? He's a dream-come-true, but I can’t date him. That’s the way it is when you’re a single dad. Our forbidden romance could get me fired. She doesn’t like football
"Enjoyed most of it" according to 2Gr8KidsMom. I don't give a ton of Enjoyed most of it 2Gr8KidsMom I don't give a ton of 4-5-star reviews for romance. Or maybe I actually DO give more than I profess because I tend to review only those romance novels that I really like or really don't like. Most romance, for me, falls in about the 3-star category and I don't end up reviewing it. This book falls into the category of "really liked."The writing was decent and the editing good. Why do I just say the writing was "decent"? Wellnot to take away from the genre, but it's a romance novel. We're not talking about the next great American novel. We're talking about good writing and good story. -5-star reviews for romance. We're talking about good writing and good story. Lady and the Champ was pretty good. Definitely some sort of borderline uncomfortable issues Amazon Customer Lady and the Champ was pretty good. Definitely some sort of borderline uncomfortable issues with consent but I enjoyed reading it. It comes with two other stories of hers that are pretty awful and upsetting though that glorify mobsters (phrases like doing what we had to do to get the money, and putting hits out on people). There was a pretty lame attempt at excusing it by talking about how the main character was born into the life but I don't find that a particularly satisfying excuse. He blackmails the heroine into having his children, orders her to stay in the house unless - I ki. "Great book!" according to Susan Qualls. Just finished it and I wanted to do this review before read the first of the two bonus books. If they are half as good as Lady and the Champ I will have gotten a great deal. The H/ h were funny and snarky at the same time. The bad guy was a real a**hole so it was easy to really hate him. Sometimes the guy who is the bad guy just comes off as pathetic and it's hard to hate pathetic. And he got his payback which is probably shallow of me but I still like it when the writer let's them get their just reward. So good H/h combo, good evil villain, good storyline, smooth flowing writing a
