"NOT Recommended for MOC exam" according to Douglas. The ABPN Maintenance of Certification (MOC) exam covered adult clinical psychiatry. There was very little child psychiatry on the exam but a substantial proportion of this book is devoted to child psych. Also the exam covered virtually nothing on theoretical concepts (dev. Kaplan and Sadockrat race in the inner city for whom? Meant to compliment Sadock the text is a means for self directed study that is geared for reviewing psychiatry and the boards. However, it appears mainly geared for inner city dwellers which is ironic because rural areas have saved the inner city many times over and so ha. "Extensive, but good" according to Banu. i like to read this book, not only for exam purposes but for over all knowledge too.It has qyesn and answers, although the questions are not board pattern fully, they are easy understand and easy read types.
