Not Exactly, but Good Enough I Guess Piano Teacher Girl I love the Showcase Series, but this book fell slightly flat for me. The pieces are not exactly on the "jazz" line. But, it's very simple and easy for beginning students. I would compare the pieces to ones you might find in lesson books. Not a lot to them, and extremely short. However, it's material I will definitely use as I have many students who love variety and don't want to alwyas play what everyone else has played before.
