Meagher's newest book is best described as a thoughtful exploration of sexuality. Both main characters are outliers in their own and their chosen families. Bailey is a very androgynous woman who prefers to dress in cute, but boyish clothes, and Kit sticks out like a sour thumb as a liberal "chang. Strong Character Development from the Inside Out LisaTu Kit is a straight woman who has gay friends, is involved in organizations supporting the LGBTQ community, and thinks that she is very open-minded. When Kit falls in love with a woman, Bailey, she begins to experience what it is like to be a member of the lesbian community from the inside, although she does not really feel that she is a part of it.One of the best features of the book, and one that is typical of Susan X Meagher's work in general, is the stron. Meagher is back with an even Better story! Vreader Well paced. Well written and fun. It's really great to get another wonderful book from this author.The characters are different from her past books. Still, as usual, the characters are painted as complete people.
