"ESSENTIAL FOR ANYONE GOING THROUGH SURGERY ROTATION AND BEYOND" according to Belis Aladag. A little about me: I am an MD now working on my MPH at Johns Hopkins-I ran across this book when I was browsing through Barnes and Nobles looking for a good study guide for my surgery oral exam.THIS BOOK IS AMAZING!A must have! It encompasses all the essential points for each surgery in literally a page or two. I wish I had found it w. Summer Abdel-Megeed said I love this series. These books are so useful to use in rounds and clinics and especially for board review. They have probably been the best review books that I've used yet. I hope they come out with "In a Page" books on each sub-specialty.. "Excellent series" according to Reader. No longer do I need to look up five or six different reference guides to find an answer about a specific type of sickness or disease. In a pragmatic sense, a very useful book with a wealth of information.
The book also seems comprehensive and ideal for interns starting in the hospital. Having the epidemiology and clinical course data handy will also be quite usefulStrengths include the easy and quick to read templated format, the inclusion of the most important (i.e., most frequently asked about) facts, and the inclusion of all the commonly seen disease entities. . I really like the way that the information is formatted, with easy eye access to different sub-topics. A book such as this is needed and sought after by students and residents. Third
