DESCRIPTION:
Short and Sweet S. Hook I Love Kittens (Touch and Feel) is a very cute book. It is durable, which is of course great for small children who like to be rough and put things in their mouth. It is made of hard cardboard. The touch and feel aspects are cute, and if you love kittens/cats it is a great find. The downside to the book is that it is extremely short. I found my niece is just getting into the book and then it is done. I do realize it is for small children but a little more length would be nice. Also, I would have liked a little more touch and feel as well. There are only 5 things to touch/feel and personally only feel two of them amount t. "Cuteness" according to PurpleSkittles. This book was a little short and the touch/feel aspects could be more pronounced. There are 5 total things to touch: velvet nose on the cover, ball of yarn, smooth milk dish, glittered toy ball, and furry rug. This is not the best touch/feel book available but I would definitely purchase this again because it is cute!. "Cute but lacking" according to Andrea L.. My 15 month old would probably rate this book Cute but lacking Andrea L. My 15 month old would probably rate this book 4 stars because it is one of his favorites (he loves cats). I would rate it 3. This book is VERY short. What you see in the preview is what you get. I assumed there were extra pages that weren't being shown. The touch and feel aspect is somewhat lacking compared to other books. The feel sections are as so: the cover page kitten has a velvet nose, page 1 has pieces of yarn for a wool ball, page 3 has a slick saucer of milk, page 6 has a few glittery dots on a ball, page 7 has a small patch of fur where the kittens sleep on a rug--that's it. At least the rhyming story is catch. stars because it is one of his favorites (he loves cats). This cute touch-and-feel board book is full of adorable pictures of kittens which babies and toddlers will just love to look at. There are different textures on the pages for little fingers to touch and explore, and some fun rhymes to read aloud and listen to, too.
