"Did not realize this was older versi" according to K. Smith. It was not clear to me that there were two version (one older and one newer with more electronic updates and not vinyl only). Still good information and not the sellers fault. I just wish it had been more clear that there were two different versions of the book.. Brilliant, funny and accurate book darren a good entry point into the world of DJing from simple info on how to beatmatch to more complex issues such as scratching and setting up your gear. Very humourous throughout and inspiring. Never takes the "you don;t know what you are doing" superior attitudes- it aims to inform, share and make you laugh.Any aspring DJ should not be without it.. Like it Very very good book, I really likes it .
Today, everyone wants to be a DJ. Playing records isn't rocket science, but there's a universe of difference between doing it and doing it well. Now all you need is to get out of your bed and do it.. It aims to shatter some illusions about the dance industry and ofer in return some explanation
