kebtucky said lololololol. Funny stuff! The authors seem to have liked it better when grandma died at 50 from "female trouble" and the cure for most things included leeches or enemas. And the thought of poor people getting healthcare seems to cause them extreme distress. (Maybe a couple of enemas are in order for them.) Doctors looking at lab results? The horror! Apparently they think doctors should poke around a little and then throw up their hands or make a guess.Oh please, oh please - download this. I don't agree with everything, but some wise words here While I don't agree with everything in this book, I think there are some very wise things here. One of the wisest, in my opinion, is "Americans have totally lost sight of actual health care costs." (loc. 133). Another concerns that everything has become a disease, which is certainly true. As somebody happily without insurance, I am MUCH more likely to say no, I think, than people who think it's all free, and I most definitely know what it costs!. "Don't Waste Your Time" according to Carol Grey. The authors' argument of how Obamacare is similar to how a Veterinarian treats a sick animal makes absolutely no sense. They try (unsuccessfully) to make the argument that doctors should not get lab results for their patients and should rely on simply examining the patient to determine what is wrong. Reading this essay was a complete waste of time!
