It was sold out at the bookstore but Amazon was also cheaper than going through my school's bookstore. Although this is a book used in class, it's interesting enough to consider if you just want more information on family violence or social justice issues. It's well written with an engaging flow of informative facts, charts, statistics & eye opening. "Informative" according to J. M. Lutz. I bought this book for a class requirement. This book is amazing. Great information, easy to read and understand. I gained a lot of insight, and I just wish I had read this book earlier in my life. I highly recommend this book to students, or anyone who wants to understand more about the effects of violence on children, and how the consequences can follow one during their life. (neglect,abuse,sexual abuse,stalking and more)
