Delicous, easy to prepare cookbook with healthy recipes for all I have the first edition of this cookbook and like it so much I bought this second edition for the updates. I have made numerous recipes in this edition already. I love the layout of the book, done in a week by week calendar format, the book lays out menu plans and even provides grocery lists. For working people and those who don't have the time or inclination to create a weeklong detailed menu for their family, this is a real time and hassle saver. I have made approx. 120 of the recipes in this and the first edition. "Lovely idea, but wholly impractical" according to LA from AK. I love the idea of this book! How great to have 5 healthy meals a week planned for every week of the year with a weekly shopping list! The recipes appear very tasty and I was excited to begin using the cookbook to eat healthy while simplifying my life!But here is my beef -- the actual meal plans and recipes are unworkable -- the recipes vary greatly in number of servings, and the calorie counts per day are widely inconsistent. Let's take this week, July week 2 for example. The shopping list assumes I am cooking two r. "And he is now doing a lot better." according to Kathleen Kindle Customer. My husbands diabetes was getting a little out of control, we started following the meal plans in this book. And he is now doing a lot better.
