Useful Book but Needs Improvement I purchased this book as a reference for the Certified Energy Manager's exam. At first, I was taken aback by the cost of the book, but rationalized that the price was well worth the future fruits I would gain with certification. I found the material to be very useful. The problem with the book, however, is that it is POORLY organized. The table of contents is a quick short list of topics. The chapters contain sub categories that are covered again and again in. Robert said Useful Reference. Useful handbook for introduction to energy analysisBoring reading for those looking for some exciting material.. Excellent source of Information Abe This book provides a wealth of information about energy usage and details how to control and conserve it. I found a lot of good material to assist in my work.
Detailed presentations cover electrical system optimization, state-of-the-art lighting and lighting controls, thermal storage, cogeneration, HVAC system optimization, HVAC and building controls, and computer technologies.
