I didn't realize how graphic the language would be, however the theme was interesting. The writer kept twists at every turn with the lead character, Chance, and all the ups and downs of street life. I give the book a high rating (5 stars) for the "realness" of the other characters described as well and how they were so important to why Chance began and how he ended the journey he took.
