DESCRIPTION:
"Good Text" according to Naval Guy. To make this review quick I am a engineering major so as you can guess fluid dynamics is a required corse. F.D.M. is the designated book for this class. It gets the job done. Examples are thorough and clear. Plenty of problems to work out. Buy this book if you need it.. Fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics William Dennis Gough The book is pretty well written for an engineering book. We have only found one incorrect answer in the back so far. The supplemental materials are very helpful and insightful like the website with the videos and examples. As with most books with a code they put the cd holder in the front . Fast Delivery, New Condition, Consistently Satisfied This is exactly the text I needed (because of course, no one's going to order Fundamentals of Fluid Mech. by accident). I ordered directly from Amazon with this one, as opposed to one of Amazon's associated vendors. Because I ordered from Amazon, I received the book a day or two ahead of t
Wiley: Creating the Future of Engineering Education. Many of the segments show how fluid motion is related to familiar devices and everyday experiences. Are You Ready to See Fluid Mechanics In Action? This text comes with a free Fluid Mechanics Phenomena CD-ROM that brings fluid mechanics to life! It contains a series of short video segments that illustrate various aspects of real-world fluid mechanics. Each segment also clearly indicates the key fluid mechanics topic being demonstrated and provides a description of the content. The numbering system will indicate which clip is relevant to the fluid mechanics concepts and theory under discussion. Also Available: The Student Solutions Manual-Easy-to-use study tool with detailed solutions to Review Problems found at the end of each chapter in the text. Throughout the text you'll find a special video icon that will let you know when it is appropriate to view a particular video clip
