Philippe Smolarski’s ‘Fayvel’s Notebook’ is an incredibly entertaining story—and I never thought I’d say this about a story concerning the Holocaust. "An award-winning book!" according to Meghan. Philippe Smolarski’s ‘Fayvel’s Notebook’ is an incredibly entertaining story—and I never thought I’d say this about a story concerning the Holocaust. I have read a lot of stories about the Second World War and the terrible plight of the Jews—from Jerzy Kosinski’s ‘The Painted Bird’ to Elie Wiesel’s ‘Night’ to even Szuzak’s ‘the Book thief’, but nothing comes close to the kind of a rollercoaster ride offered by ‘Fayvel’s Notebook’.Basically, the book is about Fayvel S., whose life’s trajectory from being a . I now want to know what is in the other notebooks.. "Best book in a long time!" according to Nadine K. Philippe Smolarski is a great writer. I strongly recommend that you read it. It is worthwhile and I look forward reading his next book.
