Taking on her animal form, Seren leaves her old life behind hoping to find a safe haven in a world that has only ever offered her hardship. With the stain of dark magic on his soul, Brennon perseveres for the sake of his young ward, always worrying that one day the evil infecting his spirit will destroy him for good. Good read but slower paced I enjoyed the story to get an idea of the sufferings of others in the Other world, but it is a little more slow paced than the rest of the series. Maybe I'm biased due to being so caught up in Meghan' s story, but I will be glad to get back to Aiden' s point of view in the next book.. "I love this book" according to Amanda Blume. A lot of help.Due to a prior, disastrous purchase, where I bought a book with so much head-hopping, I rage quit, I read the sample of this one. I got all the way through the sample. No head hopping! Yay! Cha-Ching, purchase made. What do I find just past the end of the sample?Head-hopping.GARR!I almost rage quit and asked for a refund. What stop
