Beautiful work of art. This is an incredible book. It is hardback with a glossy cover and 50 single-sided images on thick white paper. The images are taken from biologist Ernst Haeckel's work. They include cleaned up images of such things as radiolarians, shells, and jellyfish. There is also a page that indexes what each page contains. What isn't included are the higher life forms like birds and reptiles for example. The images are standard black
