April R Symes said Empire of the Son -great ending to a fantastic series. The Syndicate Series is one of my best and favorite “mafia” stories/books out there . The characters have such a real feeling to them and the angst, passion and chemistry is out of this world in these books, that I always love pulling up my books for a read. The men are so alpha and the women are so independent and kick a$$. The series started right and proper with The Wrath of Cain and is ending on a lovely and final note with Empire. I hate saying goodbye and here we do, we say goodbye to all my favori. Fantastic!! Empire by Kathy Coopmans was fantastic. I loved having all the different POV’s throughout the book. You get some of everyone although it centers around Roan and Calla. This book was so emotional and kept me wanting more yet not wanting it to end. You could literally feel the angst coming off the pages from the betrayal and deceit. I was angry and my heart broke for all the heartache and pain this family went through.
