"Excellent summary of Dundalk from early settlers through the 1960's, 70's, and 80's. Many Great Memories." according to dale klemm. This book brought back all of the great memories I had growing up in "Old Dundalk" in the 1960's and 70's. This book is also a great resource for local history buffs on how Dundalk came to be - original land grants, early settlers, industry, and a review of local landmarks. Best part was recogn. What Memories! Very complete. Includes pictures from Fort Howard, Sparrows Point, and Dundalk. Great compliment to my own photos. You don't have to be a historian to enjoy it.. "I liove in Dundalk now. I remember the old" according to Karen Bissett. I liove in Dundalk now. I remember the old Strand theater as a kid down on "the Avenue".The book is very informative.
