"Slow start" according to Jimbo. Dread Champion seemed to start out more slowly than I expected, but boy did the story deliver. I love the teaching that occurs throughout Ms. Collins' stories without being preachy. I highly recommend this series.. "Hard to put down" according to Sheryl Root. Dread Champion is the sequel to Brandilyn Collins' book, Eyes of Elisha. While I enjoyed Eyes of Elisha, the plot didn't hold as many surprises as I would have liked. I'm very glad I kept reading. Dread Champion far exceeded my greatest expectations. The many threads of plot were tied together flawlessly a. An amazing Christian mystery/suspense! Jamie E.
