Absolutely amazing new story in this series Jen Antle I anxiously awaited this installment of the Enigma series with Jack, and absolutely enjoyed the storyA good book for me makes me want to stay up late and read (which I did last night), even if I have to work and should really be sleeping. The lost hours of sleep were well worth it for me after finishing the book.SPOILERS!!!!Jack heads to New York because his old friend was attached by what people are calling the Jersey Devil. His old friend is a tracker/hunter and Jacks dad taught him all he knew. Jack unofficially stars looking for this cryptid and of course, things go south fast, and his team comes to help him, and we get to m. Best so far :) I think this was actually my favourite in the Enigma Directive series. I really don't know how Jack has lived this long with his mouth running off the way he does. Not that I'm complaining, as I love Jack's snarky humour in any situation. This time, the adventure is smack-dab in the centre of New York City and Jack spends as much time evading the police as he does chasing down the legendary Jersey Devil. J Kent Holloway has written another fun, action-packed, fast-paced adventure thriller that keeps you turning the pages. The only downside now is knowing I have a long wait until the next book. Another Excellent Cryptid Hunt!!!! Again Kent Holloway grabs you from the very first page and just keeps the action going strong! I love all the books in this series. And even though this is my least favorite (only because of the specific cryptid) it is still a very strong 5 star read. I am really looking forward to much more from Mr. Holloway!!!
