Every now and then, I come across a Chapbook that just takes my breath away .and this Chapbook does it! The poems were not only "detailed" but written in a style that doesn't even begin to compare to other poetresses. Valeri, you outdone yourself. And if you can get this book in print, I will definitely buy and place it on my bookshelf next to Writhing & Alive, Black-Listed Thoughts and various others.. Valeri's poetry is riveting! Mark McClure Valeri has a unique style that grabs your attention quickly and leaves you wanting more. Getting a message to the reader as quickly as she does is a rare talent. I finished this chapbook quickly, devouring it in one sitting. I then went back and read it again, more slowly. Each pass made me relate to the poetry in a different way. Loved it!! I look forward to reading more of Valeri's work in the future.
