F. Cortuno said The BEST for law students. Every single rule has a series of recent case law short summaries to show you how and why the court ruled using that rule of evidence. It makes it SO easy understand how we should argue issues and how the rules play out in real life. The author also has comments that really help it make sense more than the advisory comments in the FRE.additionally, every rule includes common objections that stem from that rule. Finall. Four Stars A good book for reviewing Federal Rules of Evidence with useful and relevant commentary.. My favorite book on the subject Mom of two I ordered this book for use in our mock trial law school class, among others. It's by far the best book on the subject- so much so that I don't even use any of the other books. It's soft cover & easy to carry around but yet contains everything all the other huge hardcover books contain. It even makes us of it's front & back inside covers to list out common objections!

It contains the Federal Rules of Evidence, including recent and pending amendments; offers rule-by-rule commentary, serving as a mini-treatise on federal rules; and covers objections and responses. It also helps students bridge the gap from understanding the law of evidence to understanding how to perform at trial.. Designed both for law student advocates and students enrolled in traditional evidence courses, this handbook provides full coverage of courtroom evidence procedures, rules, and law. It is indispensable for students participating in a mock trial, going to court as part of a clinical program, or trying to understand the law of evidence
